National Day of the Sea

On October 12, in Brazil, the National Day of the Sea is celebrated and its main objective is to encourage debate about the protection of the oceans both in terms of their biological diversity and the conservation and preservation of other natural resources, through government and daily actions. .

Brazil is a country with one of the most extensive coastlines in the world, being well known for its beautiful beaches that are sources of livelihood for millions of people, highlighting the caiçaras who live and depend on the seas directly.

The oceans make up more than 90% of all the water on our planet, yet it takes a lot of effort to protect this great biome. To emphasize the importance of these actions, the National Sea Day was created.

Come and help protect the rivers and oceans too!!!
