The National Federation of Fisheries Engineers of Brazil, named by the acronym FAEP-BR, was founded on June 26, 1979 and is the highest representative entity of the class of Fisheries Engineers of Brazil, constituted for the purposes of improvement, coordination, protection, claim and legal representation of Fisheries Engineers, whether as professionals, freelancers or civil servants. It is a civil society with a federative character, of unlimited duration, with a national territorial base, limited to only one entity for each State of Brazil, Territory and Federal District. It does not have economic purposes and does not, consequently, distribute profits or dividends, with headquarters and venue in the city of Brasília, Federal District.
