In 2006, with the notice 03/22/06 for expansion of the groups of the Tutorial Education Program (PET), the development of the PET / PESCA-UFPA project started, however that year the proposal submitted was not approved. In the following year, without losing heart, the proposal was improved and readjusted to the basic manual of PET, further emphasizing the inseparability of teaching-research and extension, being approved and registered in the official gazette on June 12, 2007.
